Customer Service Consultant
About the Role As a Customer Service Consultant at HSBC, you’ll drive outstanding service by:
- Guiding customers to use our digital platforms flexibly
- Raising fraud awareness and supporting vulnerable or complex cases
- Ensuring inclusive financial services for everyone
We seek ambitious, passionate individuals with helpful personalities. Previous customer service experience is advantageous, but we prioritise conversational skills and a supportive attitude.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact, resolving customer queries with ownership and excellence
- Educate customers on HSBC’s digital services and promote fraud prevention
- Identify and support vulnerable customers, ensuring they receive tailored assistance
- Address complex banking needs with empathy and professionalism

Working Details
- Hours: Full-time, 35 hours/week (Mon-Fri: 09:00–17:00, Sat: 09:00–13:30 for eligible branches)
- Eligibility: UK residents aged 18+, with valid right to work (minimum 14 months). Sponsorship unavailable.
- Branch Support: Occasional travel for nearby locations (expenses covered).
Note: Student visas must permit full 35-hour workweeks.
Training
- 9-day induction, split over 3 weeks (brick-and-mortar training only) Responsibilities during training: No annual leave until completion.
