MATLAB Student Ambassador Role

The MATLAB Student Ambassador position requires a commitment of 5 hours per week, with a focus on the following responsibilities:
- Exploring and implementing creative ways to raise MathWorks brand and product awareness among students
- Engaging with key student organisations in Engineering, Math, Science, and Finance
- Planning and executing on-campus events to showcase MATLAB and Simulink
- Leveraging social media platforms and university communications to promote MathWorks Student Challenges and resources

Responsibilities
This is a paid 5-hour-per-week position. The MATLAB Student Ambassador will lead the following tasks:
- Host engaging on-campus events, including software demos and workshops, to demonstrate MATLAB and Simulink
- Use social media (particularly Instagram) to promote MathWorks products by sharing relevant resources
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Authorised to work in the United Kingdom or able to obtain work authorisation with an internship offer

Additional Qualifications
- Proficiency in MATLAB, with familiarity in Simulink being advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills, particularly with a passion for social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, blogging, etc.)
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or postgraduate student in good academic standing at the designated university
- At least 2 semesters remaining in a STEM degree program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
