Digital Marketing Education Administrator – University of Sheffield

About the Role
The University of Sheffield’s new MSc in Digital Marketing degree launches in September 2026, and we are seeking an additional team member to contribute to its development and delivery, alongside existing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
As part of the Marketing and Creative and Cultural Industries (MCCI) Subject Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital marketing curriculum. This involves:
- Teaching delivery through lectures, workshops, and seminars.
- Curriculum development in collaboration with marketing, creative, and cultural industries experts.
- Module leadership or similar administrative responsibilities.
- Scholarly engagement to enhance national/international impact in digital marketing education.
You will work flexibly, adapt to fresh challenges, and thrive in an interdisciplinary environment.
Location: Sheffield University Management School Full-time contract (1st Sept 2026 – 30th Sept 2027)
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Teaching & Curriculum Development
- Develop and deliver digital marketing education across existing and upcoming programmes, ensuring accessibility, inclusivity, and alignment with the University’s Education Strategy.
- Apply creative problem-solving to enhance the student experience and professional outcomes.
Scholarly Engagement
- Contribute to digital marketing education scholarship with measurable impacts on student success.
- Establish a national/international teaching profile.

Student Support & Outreach
- Engage in recruitment and outreach, including attending events outside working hours (e.g., Open Days).
- Support student advising, mentoring, and programme administration.
Professional Engagement
- Represent the University to external stakeholders to foster collaborations.
- Adhere to University quality assurance processes and industry standards (e.g., CIM accreditation).
Academic Leadership
- Model ethical behaviour and sheffield.ac.uk principles ("Sheffield Academic").
- Support the collective mission of the University through inclusive, collaborative contributions.
Additional Duties
- Carry out other responsibilities as required within the post.

Salary: £48,822 – £58,222
Work Arrangements: Full-time
