Responsibilities
- Provide safe, engaging and play-led activities for children aged 0–5 years in a structured yet flexible approach.
- Assist in planning, delivering and documenting daily play sessions alongside qualified staff.
- Support children’s learning, social, emotional and physical development.
- Assist in routine tasks such as feeding, napping, toileting and hygiene aligned with best practice in Early Years.
- Collaborate as part of a family-focused team to deliver a consistent care experience.
- Attend professional development training and updates on best practice in SEND and Early Years education.
- Adhere to all safeguarding policies and audits (e.g. food, infection control, environment).

Ideal Candidate
- Strong passion and enthusiasm for working with early years children.
- Team player who takes initiative and shows resilience.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for effective teamwork and children’s care.
- Compulsory: Enhanced DBS certificate and additional employment references required as part of the post’s safeguarding standards.
- Able to commit to 40 hours per week across 4–5 days, with flexibility on shift schedules.
