The Third One is looking for a passionate Technical Animator to join our indie team to deliver a new Grimdark action IP!
Remote position, flexible work arrangement
Not outsource, no AI
Responsibilities:
- Adapt animation packs to gameplay and stylistic needs
- Create unique custom animations for hero assets
- Follow through with gameplay programmers and 3D artists to deliver stylish, clean, and readable results
- Collaborate with production to set up

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in technical and gameplay animation, specifically for videogames in Unreal Engine 5/4
- Strong knowledge of rigging, skinning, and retargeting
- Proficiency at using Animation Blueprints
- Basic knowledge of Keyframe animation and Mocap
- Strong communication skills and a problem-solver mindset
- Ability to iterate quickly and responsively
- Ability to work independently and provide pipeline guidance (down and up production) to your teammates
