Role Summary
Reporting to the Head of Brand Comms (social, editorial and talent), this role will play a pivotal role in building long term relationships, nurturing grassroots communities and building brand equity across earned and organic output.
The role will partner closely with the talent coordinator to evolve PR/talent strategy, storytelling and execution of UOs brand identity and DNA across all touchpoints.
What You'll Be Doing
- Act as the brand guardian on all earned communications across PR, advocacy and influencer output
- Showcase deep understanding of business objectives to ensure team strategy is executed to best practice
- Build strong relationships with key media titles, grassroots communities and emerging networks
- Oversee PR and advocacy output and calendars to ensure we tell the right stories with the right people at the right time
- Partner with brand creative teams to nurture and execute employee advocacy programs
- Write press releases and pitch organic seasonal stories
- Pitch, concept and activate PR events while supporting the talent coordinator with influencer activations
- Support HOD with brand safeguarding and crisis communication where needed
- Oversee team budget

What You'll Need
- Proven experience working in PR/comms/influencer worlds, whether in-house and/or agency
- Strong experience building internal and external advocacy programs
- Ability to mentor & manage direct reports
- Excellent ability to problem solve and think creatively
- Be insights driven with a mindset focused on youth culture, trends and customer mindset shifts
- Be up to date on the latest within AIO and opportunities for growth
- Ability to be reactive in response to business needs and oversee multiple projects at once
- Be a strong collaborator across internal and external teams
