Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customs & Trade Compliance Coordinator to support the smooth and compliant movement of goods across international supply chains.
Working closely with Import, Customs Warehouse (CW), and Export teams, you will play a key role in ensuring customs compliance, operational efficiency, and accurate customs processing across all areas of the business.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide guidance and support on tariff classifications, customs valuations, duty reliefs, preferential origin schemes including GSP, and other customs compliance matters. Issue daily import and export clearance instructions to customs brokers, ensuring declarations are accurate and submitted within required timelines. Manage the daily archiving and maintenance of import declaration records following delivery of goods. Support the daily processing of CFSP and Customs Warehouse transactions using Ricardo software and complete all associated customs administration tasks. Work closely with vendors to ensure the accuracy of documentation and information required for customs entry purposes. Partner with brands and finance teams to manage vendor compliance issues and related chargebacks. Support duty planning activities by working alongside design, development, and logistics teams to verify tariff classifications, duty rates, and documentary requirements before orders are placed, ensuring accurate landed costs. Liaise with customs brokers to maintain customs clearance KPIs and ensure the accuracy and compliance of customs declarations. Maintain and improve SOPs, ensuring processes are standardised, compliant, and effectively communicated across internal teams and vendor partners. Demonstrate company values and behaviours while contributing to a collaborative and compliance-focused working environment.

What You'll Need
Previous experience within customs, import/export operations, or trade compliance. Good understanding of customs procedures, tariff classification, valuation, origin, and duty reliefs. Experience working with customs brokers and customs systems, ideally including Ricardo software and CFSP processes. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to work collaboratively across logistics, finance, buying, and vendor management teams.

Knowledge of UK and international customs regulations. Experience within retail, fashion, logistics, or supply chain environments. Understanding of Customs Warehouse procedures and duty planning processes.
