Role Summary

The Business Analyst position is the key liaison between the Information Technology Department and the business teams for Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters and Free People brands.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and drive growth. While the role spans multiple business verticals, experience in the retail sector is advantageous.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide the first level of triage of complex issues, analyse options, explain the impact and partner with internal teams to work towards the best solution to the problem
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements across various departments.
  • Develop and maintain business process models to illustrate current and future states.
  • Help to manage and develop execution of QA test plans for enhancements and large projects
  • Communicate and coordinate project activities with business, technical and IT organisations
  • Assess projects and identify essential tasks; reprioritise tasks dynamically during the project; perform risk assessments; identify and evaluate alternatives

What You'll Need

  • Knowledge and experience of Retail Systems – PLM, PIM, ERP, POS, Planning, Allocation, Supply Chain, Marketing, Ecomm, Finance
  • Experience of B2B and B2C solutions in a Retail/Wholesale business
  • Fashion retail experience ideal but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on both quality and speed
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and handle multiple competing demands
  • Analytical and Project Management Skills
  • General awareness of AI concepts and tools (eg Gemini, Claude etc) and a willingness to develop proficiency as part of the role
