Exciting Opportunity in Mental Health Liaison
This is an exciting opportunity to work across all areas of mental health liaison: working age, older adults, and patients with organic brain disorders. It is a dynamic and fast-paced role for a registered and experienced mental health nurse who can work as both a core member of the MDT and also an autonomous practitioner to achieve the best outcomes for people of working and older age referred to our service by The Princess Royal Hospital for assessment of their presenting mental health need and associated risks.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be working at the interface between physical and psychological health and bring your knowledge and expertise to your general hospital colleagues.
- You will work within our MDT in order to provide specialist assessment, treatment, and discharge planning to those patients with functional and organic mental health conditions.
- We support patients referred to our service with a wide range of physical and psychological co-morbidities including those people presenting to mental health services for the very first time.
- You will need to be able to work autonomously and have excellent communication skills and be able to foster excellent relationships with patients, carers, general hospital colleagues, and other parts of the health and social care system.

Our Services
- We offer comprehensive biopsychosocial mental health assessments for all mental health presentations for people aged over 18.
- We work in collaboration with people referred to our service and their loved ones by offering timely interventions to support those presenting in crisis.
