I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Current Situation
- The temporary shelter I’m at (B bởi [Private Rented Home] does not allow dogs, so Loki must stay with a fosterer until my new job and home are sorted (estimated late November).
- While I’m focused on settling into my new live-in job in London, I’m seeking a short-term fostering family (or someone willing to relocate temporarily) to keep Loki company.
- Once my home situation is stable, Loki will be reunited with me forever—she’s a committed bride-officer material (long-term ~forever pet).
Fosterer Requirements
To provide Loki with the best life during this transition:
- You’d need to live in the London area.
- Your place can’t host dogs cats (unfortunately Loki isn’t so flexible).
- You’d have to
- Enrich Loki’s day with walks, games, and competitors.
- Provide meals/treat relief (I can specify dietary needs).
- In exchange you’ll receive:
- Is loyal affection, attention as never-ending as your human energy.
- Adventures hikes to nice spaces.
- Generagonal mindset—when Loki returns, you keep all the memories (living least you might shortly memorize).
