Urology Administration Assistant
Job Description
About the Role
To fully support the administrative services of the Urology Investigation Suite.
To provide UIS administrative, reception, and clerical services.
Responsibilities
- The post will involve taking and answering phone calls from patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
- Booking outpatient appointments.
- Covering reception duties as required.
- Performing general admin and clerical duties.
Working Hours
We are looking for the applicant to ideally work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. There will be a requirement for some flexibility in the working days pattern to meet the demands of the service, e.g., cover annual leave. This will be planned in advance and by agreement.
Key Duties
- Taking telephone calls and dealing with patient enquiries.
- Making and amending outpatient appointments.
- Reception cover when the reception team is on leave or unavailable.
