Role Description
The US / UK Dual-Handler Tax Senior will manage a portfolio of individual clients with cross-border US/UK tax needs, primarily expatriates based in or around London. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Preparing and reviewing US and UK individual tax returns
- Analyzing double tax treaty issues
- Advising clients on residency, foreign reporting, and related compliance requirements
- Communicating directly with clients, gathering information, resolving complex technical questions
- Coordinating with internal team members to ensure high-quality service delivery

The role involves supporting tax planning projects, assisting with technical research, and contributing to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the firm. This is a full-time, on-site position located in London.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in US and UK individual tax compliance, including preparation and review of returns and related filings.
- Knowledge of expatriate and cross-border tax issues, including residency rules, double tax treaties, and foreign reporting requirements.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as Enrolled Agent (EA), CPA, ATT, CTA, or equivalent, or working toward such certifications.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters to clients in accessible terms.
- Proficiency with tax preparation software and standard office tools (e.g., Excel, Word), and comfort working with digital files and workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Prior experience in a tax practice handling US/UK dual-handler or expatriate clients is highly beneficial.
