US/UK Tax Manager
A leading international tax advisory practice is seeking a US/UK Tax Manager to join its growing Private Client team in London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced cross-border tax professional looking to build their career within a firm that combines high-quality technical work, a genuinely supportive culture, and clear progression opportunities.
The team advises a sophisticated client base of US citizens living in the UK, dual nationals, internationally mobile executives, entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals and family groups, providing both compliance and advisory services across the US and UK tax regimes.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of complex private clients, overseeing both US and UK tax compliance while advising on a wide range of cross-border planning matters.
This role is particularly suited to someone with genuine dual-handling experience, who enjoys working across both tax systems rather than specialising in a single jurisdiction. You will have the opportunity to develop strong client relationships, lead engagements and work closely with senior leadership on technically challenging advisory projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
