Used Car Sales Executive

Job Description

Location: Donnelly M1 Motorstore, 181 Ballygawley Road

Location: Dungannon

Department: Motorstore Sales Team

As part of our continued growth and development for 2026, Donnelly Group, have a unique and exciting opportunity for a sales professional to join our dynamic and successful Motorstore team at our M1 site in Dungannon. You’ll have the chance to sell a wide range of used vehicles, showcasing your knowledge of different makes, models, and vehicle technologies while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in achieving targets through excellent customer interaction and service.

About The Role

You’ll excel as a Sales Executive if you:

Possess excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with people. Have experience in a similar sales role, with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets. Enjoy working in a fast-paced sales environment. Are proactive, solutions-focused, and have a ‘can-do’ attitude. Can work independently, multitask effectively, and adapt quickly to shifting priorities. Can demonstrate knowledge of various makes, models, and advanced technologies. Are eager to learn and stay up-to-date with product and technical information. Demonstrate outstanding people and communication skills. Are a team player, ready to offer support to colleagues.

Core Duties

Sell a diverse range of used vehicles, tailored to customer needs. Meet and exceed personal and team KPIs. Deliver an exceptional level of customer satisfaction to every client. Provide expert advice on finance and insurance products for new and existing customers. Listen to customer needs and provide tailored solutions. Build strong relationships to secure repeat business and enhance customer loyalty.

What You Will Need To Succeed

At least 1 year of sales experience in a target-driven environment. A full valid driving licence. Passion for delivering excellent customer service and the ability to confidently discuss various vehicle brands, features, and technologies.

Company Culture

Required Criteria

A high level of IT literacy, including knowledge of MS Office Strong planning and organisational skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work under pressure Be able to work independently and also as part of a team Positive, confident, determined approach Driven to meet targets Full Valid Driver's Licence At least 1 year of sales experience in a target-driven environment Ability to confidently discuss various vehicle brands, features, and technologies Have a thorough knowledge of different vehicle brands and models

Desired Criteria

Experience of Kerridge or another CRM system would be advantageous but not essential
