Used Car Sales Manager

Location: Land Rover Birmingham North


About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead a busy and successful Used Sales team at Land Rover Birmingham North. If you’re determined, motivated, and thrive in high-pressure environments, this role is for you.


Key Responsibilities

As Sales Manager, you will:

  • Develop, inspire and enhance the sales team, providing a framework, guidance, and enthusiasm to maximise both individual and collective success.
  • Drive sales performance by setting achievable targets and coaching the team to exceed them.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and top CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards, FCA regulations, and ethical financial advice practices.
  • Oversee vehicle stock management and dealership presentation to leave a lasting impression.
  • Collaborate with Telesales and Retention Teams for seamless enquiry management.

Key Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Exceptional sales leadership—ability to motivate a team, drive profitability, and achieve high standards.
  • Strong automotive sales background, plus outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for customer service— dédiated to delivering exceptional experiences that leave lasting impressions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability— eager to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to ethical practices— ensuring fair treatment of customers in a regulated environment.
  • Specialist knowledge— ideally, experience in pre-owned vehicle sales would be advantageous.
