UX Product Designer
Location: Manchester - Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
Salary: £60,000, plus bonus and additional benefits
Type: Permanent
Maxwell Bond is partnered with a leading FinTech business that is continuing to invest heavily in customer experience, digital innovation, and AI-enabled product development. As part of their growth plans, they are looking for a talented UX Product Designer to play a key role in shaping customer journeys, driving experimentation, and helping deliver measurable business impact.
This is an exciting opportunity for a UX Product Designer who thrives in a fast-moving environment where ideas are tested quickly, customer insight drives decision-making, and AI is embraced as a core part of the design process.
The Opportunity
Working within a high-performing Growth team, you'll help transform customer problems and commercial opportunities into intuitive, engaging digital experiences. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Data, Marketing, and Engineering teams to rapidly design, test, and optimize solutions that improve customer outcomes.
The successful UX Product Designer will be instrumental in building scalable design capabilities, accelerating experimentation, and helping create experiences that deliver real value to customers and the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and prototype customer experiences at speed, enabling rapid validation of new ideas and concepts
- Create user journeys, wireframes, interaction flows, and high-fidelity prototypes that support testing and learning
- Translate customer needs, behavioural insights, and business objectives into intuitive digital experiences
- Leverage AI tools to enhance ideation, content creation, prototyping, and design workflows
- Contribute to the development and evolution of an AI-enabled design system that supports consistency and faster delivery
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, shape experiments, and improve performance
- Use customer feedback, analytics, and testing outcomes to continuously refine experiences
- Bring inspiration from market-leading products and emerging technologies into the design process
Experience
- Demonstrated success designing user-centred digital products and services that deliver meaningful customer value
- Strong practical experience using AI-powered tools to improve design efficiency, insight generation, and concept development
- Ability to quickly convert ideas, requirements, and hypotheses into tangible prototypes for testing
- Excellent understanding of user experience principles, interaction design, and usability best practice
- Experience creating, maintaining, and scaling design systems across digital products
- A proactive mindset with a passion for exploring new technologies, trends, and innovative product experiences
- Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment where continuous iteration is encouraged
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Enthusiasm for helping shape and grow an AI-first product and design function
