About the Role
We are looking for a skilled User Researcher to lead and deliver user research activities throughout the Beta phase of product development. This role focuses on:
- Understanding user needs
- Generating actionable insights
- Ensuring user-centred design principles are embedded in the delivery lifecycle
You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to shape services using real user feedback and evidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead user research activities throughout the Beta phase of delivery
- Identify and recruit relevant user groups aligned to target audiences
- Plan and conduct research using a range of:
- Qualitative methods
- Quantitative methods
- Facilitate user sessions such as:
- Interviews
- Usability testing
- Surveys
- Gather, analyse, and synthesize user insights into clear, actionable outputs
- Communicate research findings effectively to:
- Cross-functional teams
- Stakeholders
- Influence product decisions by advocating for user-centred design
- Collaborate closely with:
- Product managers
- Designers
- Developers
- Ensure research activities align with Agile delivery practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement of research methods and processes

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong experience in user research within digital product environments
- Proficiency in a variety of user research methods and techniques
- Ability to translate research findings into actionable insights
- Experience in:
- Participant recruitment
- User segmentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies
Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills

Delivery & Impact
- Ability to manage research activities independently and deliver outcomes
- Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams
- Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on Beta phase or live service improvements
- Familiarity with tools for:
- Research
- Prototyping
- Analytics
- Background in:
- UX
- Human-Computer Interaction
- Psychology
- Or related fields
