Position Title: User Researcher
Location: Leeds
Summary
Mastek is seeking a User Researcher to join our dynamic and growing User-Centred Design practice. This role involves leading impactful projects for clients across the public and private sectors, applying user-centred methods in agile environments, and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
User-centred Design Projects
- Design and execute comprehensive user research approaches tailored to project objectives.
- Develop insightful, phase-specific deliverables that guide product and service design.
- Communicate complex research findings and project scopes clearly to diverse audiences, ensuring strategic alignment.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivate strong relationships with client teams, promoting understanding and buy-in for user-centred methodologies.
- Mentor stakeholders in UCD practices, enhancing organisational capabilities.
- Identify and propose innovative solutions and cross-sell opportunities, contributing to business growth.
Business Development
- Collaborate on crafting compelling proposals that integrate UCD principles.
- Apply agile and UCD methodologies to bid processes, aligning with client visions.
Community Development
- Contribute to shaping Mastek’s UCD strategy and market propositions.
- Engage in developing the internal UCD community, fostering innovation and collaboration.
Experience
- Demonstratable experience in agile user research within complex programs.
- Proven track record of translating research into insights and solutions.
- Experience with GDS/NHS service standards is highly beneficial, particularly in healthcare contexts.
