About the Role
We’re seeking a Researcher to deliver research across qualitative and quantitative methods, supporting tactical and strategic projects across multiple squads—with an unwavering commitment to high standards. You’ll:
- Lead discovery research and validation testing, partnering with stakeholders to design studies that demonstrate the value of a user-centred, data-driven approach to solving problems.
- Provide actionable insights that empower product teams and stakeholders to improve client outcomes and drive organisational success.
- Champion collaboration, uphold best practices and governance, and contribute to the growth and development of the wider research team. Help create a positive, high-performing culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality mixed-method research (quantitative and qualitative) across tactics and strategy.
- Working closely with stakeholders to shape and conduct research—including discovery projects, validation testing, and customer experience (CX) measurement for metrics like NPS, CSAT, and Net Ease.
- Translating research insights into compelling, tailored narratives that inform decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing

Research Execution & Design:
- Plan and execute diverse research methods: usability testing, interviews, surveys, workshops, A/B testing, and data analysis.
- Develop detailed surveys and discussion guides, applying statistical and qualitative analytics to explore client behaviour.

Collaborative Impact:
- Work with designers and product managers to address client feedback and iterate solutions.
- Present insights through clear storytelling for diverse stakeholders, from executives to development teams.

Data-Driven Product Goals:
- Support CX measurement (e.g., surveys, analytics in tools like Qualtrics or Tableau) to identify opportunities and risks.
- Translate findings into actionable recommendations to enhance user satisfaction and products.

Research Operations & Culture:
- Assist in creating and managing research artifacts (e.g., personas, playbooks, insight libraries).
- Contribute to team ceremonies and research operations while enhancing overall quality and governance.

Leveraging Technology:
- Apply AI/LLM tools to streamline research tasks (synthesis, planning) without compromising rigor.
About You
We’re looking for a user research enthusiast with a portfolio of impactful work, a curiosity for client needs, and experience in agile environments. Ideally, you’ll possess:
- Experience: In UX or user research-related roles, with a broad toolkit of methodologies.
- Qualitative methods: Usability testing, interviews, workshops, or ethnographic inquiry.
- Quantitative methods: Statistical analysis, survey design, large-scale data interpretation, and tools (Tableau, Qualtrics, A/B testing frameworks).
- Collaborative flexibility: Comfortable operating independently on smaller projects and collaboratively in cross-functional teams with product designers and managers.
- Details matter: Keen eye for rigor, quality, and adherence to best practices.
- Tech literacy: Familiarity with tools like Dovetail, UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Maze, Figma, or Lookback.
- Stakeholder & storytelling skills: The ability to engage clients and internal teams by summarizing complex insights into actionable plans.
- Innovation mindset: Willingness to explore AI/LLM tools intelligently while maintaining research integrity.
- Core knowledge:
- Accessibility and inclusive design principles.
- Global research practices for broader reach and impact.

Working Schedule
This role is headquartered in our Bristol office (BS1 5HL) and allows a hybrid model (minimum three in-office days per week).
