Job Title: User Researcher & Research Ops Coordinator
Location: Cambridge, United Kingdom (Hybrid) Employment Type: full-time (contract for 12 months)

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic User Researcher & Research Ops Coordinator to join the User Research & Experience Team at AVEVA. You will support a team focused on researching user experiences across our industrial software portfolio, delivering robust, defensible insights to inform strategic, tactical, and operational decisions. This role combines user research execution with research operations coordination, ensuring efficient and scalable confident research programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct user research across complex enterprise ecosystems and multiple time zones.
- Manage recruitment (consent, scheduling, registration, and attendance) for studies.
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative research at scale, synthesising and translating insights across teams, products, and programs.
- Produce, edit, and upload digital content (audio-visual material) to research portals.
- Communicate complex findings clearly to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Maintain and manage research tools, including repositories, booking systems, etc.
- Support and mentor UX team members to conduct research.
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrable experience conducting user research in large-scale, enterprise, or complex organisational contexts.
- Strong synthesis skills, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience working across multiple teams and influencing without direct authority.
- Self-motivated, capable of demonstrating a flexible approach to work—both independently and collaboratively in a global team.
- Multi-tasking, deadline-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Hybrid Working Policy
At AVEVA, we operate in a hybrid model. Most roles are office-based (50% on-site) to facilitate collaboration. Some roles may be either office-based or fully remote, depending on requirements.
