Utility Surveyor
Position Overview
We are currently recruiting for an ambitious and practically minded Utility Surveyor to join our Subsurface Engineering Department in London. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects, supported by a strong and experienced leadership team.
What You Will Do
- Undertake utility surveys in diverse environments using the latest EM (Electromagnetic) and GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) technologies and equipment.
- Attend site visits and client meetings to assist with the tendering stage of larger projects.
- Handle, process, and interpret geospatial data within the subsurface environment.
What You Will Bring
Qualifications & Knowledge
- QCF Level 3 (QCF3) or QCF Level 5 (QCF5)* (highly desirable but not a requirement)
- Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of GPR and underground surveying.
- Proficiency in using EM and GPR tools.
- Understanding and knowledge of PAS128.
- Ability to understand and analyse asset owner record drawings.
- Familiarity with land surveying (desirable but not mandatory).
- Good writing skills and proficiency in English.

Additional Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by clients.
- Possession of a full clean manual driving licence.
- Strong work ethic with a drive for career growth.
