Salary & Location
- Salary range (London): £72,702 – £80,780
- Salary range (Bristol or Leeds): £61,344 – £68,160
- Locations: London, Bristol or Leeds
- Working pattern: Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in office)
About the Role
We are looking for a collaborative UX Designer who takes ownership of their work while influencing stakeholders through clear communication, research insights, and adaptable creative problem-solving. You will drive impactful, user-centred design within Lloyds Banking Group, contributing to a workforce dedicated to diversity, equitable growth, and customer inclusion.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our UX Designer, your responsibilities will include:

End-to-end user experience design
- Design cohesive user journeys that prioritise business needs alongside intuitive UI (User Interface) design.
- Leverage a central design system to craft the optimal blend of content and layout.

Prototyping and communication
- Bring designs to life using tools like Figma and ensure clarity in presenting ideas to stakeholders and developers.

Balancing business and user needs
- Conduct user research (both qualitative and quantitative) to align stakeholders on customer-centric solutions.
- Advocate strategic decisions, even when ethically necessary.

Technical adaptability and guidance
- Design considering platform constraints while guiding technical teams to enhance customer experience.

What We’re Looking For
You are the ideal candidate if you have:

Proven experience in UX or Interaction Design (or related fields like Visual Design).

Deep mastery over prototyping tools and clear articulation of design decisions for developers and internal teams.

A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across disciplines, including:
- User researchers
- Developers (ensuring designs are accessible and achievable)
- Cross-functional stakeholders (navigating conflicts diplomatically to benefit customers)

Tech and financial sector experience a plus (particularly in a complex regulatory environment).

Strong passion for customer inclusion and accessibility in design.
