About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced UX Engineer to join the Research team based in London.
This role sits at the intersection of UX Design and Front-End Engineering, where you'll help build intuitive, scalable user experiences while developing the technical foundations that enable designers and engineers to work more effectively together.
You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Researchers, Designers, and Software Engineers to develop user-facing products, create reusable component systems, prototype new experiences, and build tooling that improves the design and development workflow.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strong front-end engineering skills with user-centred design thinking in a highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality user-facing interfaces and front-end experiences.
  • Build scripts, plug-ins, and internal tools that improve design and engineering workflows.
  • Partner with Designers, Product Managers, Researchers, and Engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Act as the technical bridge between Design and Engineering teams.
  • Build and maintain reusable UI components and scalable component systems.
  • Contribute to computational design systems by developing tooling and technical solutions.
  • Prototype new user experiences and evaluate emerging front-end technologies.
  • Write clean, maintainable code to support product development and user experience improvements.
  • Identify UX and technical challenges while recommending innovative solutions.
  • Contribute technical expertise during project planning and design discussions.
  • Continuously iterate on designs through prototyping, testing, and stakeholder feedback.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
