About The Role
As a UX Designer, you'll play a vital role in our expanding UX Design team, contributing to innovative and high-profile digital travel products and services across web, mobile, and internal platforms.
Using your expertise in User Research, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, and User Interface Design, you will help identify customer needs, uncover opportunities for improvement, and translate insights into intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experiences. You will be responsible for creating user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interfaces that balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
You will apply both established UX methodologies and AI-assisted tools to support research, ideation, prototyping, and design activities, helping to deliver high-quality customer experiences efficiently and effectively. Alongside your UX research capability, you will bring strong visual and interface design skills, ensuring digital products are intuitive, accessible, visually engaging, and aligned with Travel Counsellors' brand and design standards.
Working closely with the Product Design Manager, Product Managers, Developers, and stakeholders, you will contribute to the design and continuous improvement of travel products, booking journeys, adviser tools, and internal platforms, ensuring solutions are informed by customer needs, business objectives, and data-driven insights.

Principal Accountabilities
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of Travel Counsellors' digital travel products and services, including customer-facing websites, mobile applications, booking journeys, TC tools, and internal platforms.
- Conduct and support user research activities, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, analytics reviews, and customer feedback analysis to inform design decisions.
- Translate customer insights and business requirements into user journeys, task flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interface designs.
- Design intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging user experiences that align with customer needs, business objectives, and brand standards.
- Create and maintain designs, including wireframes, prototypes, interaction designs, user interface specifications, and supporting documentation.
- Apply visual design principles, accessibility standards, and Design System guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across digital products.
- Utilise AI-assisted tools and methodologies to support research, ideation, and rapid prototyping.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle to define, validate, and refine solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and collaborative sessions to gather requirements, align stakeholders, and evaluate design concepts.
- Use customer insights, usability findings, and performance data to validate design decisions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the evolution of Travel Counsellors' Design System, ensuring reusable patterns and components are effectively applied across products.
Champion customer-centred design, usability, and accessibility best practices
Required Experience
- Minimum 6+ years' professional experience in User Research and User Interface Design across complex digital products and services.
- Demonstrable expertise in planning, conducting, synthesizing, and presenting UX research using qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
- Extensive experience designing user interfaces for web, mobile, and responsive platforms, with a strong portfolio of end-to-end UX/UI delivery.
- Strong visual design capability, including experience with typography, layout, component-based design, accessibility standards, responsive design, and Design Systems.
- Experience applying AI-powered methodologies to UX research, including AI-assisted insight synthesis, thematic analysis, research planning, survey generation, and customer feedback analysis.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools for rapid prototyping, design acceleration, and UX research, including AI-supported ideation, insight synthesis, wireframing, usability analysis, and iterative design optimisation.
- Background in UX design for both B2B and B2C contexts.
- Extensive background in either a creative agency or corporate UX team.
- Certification as a UX Professional, demonstrating expertise in the field.
- Hands-on experience in UX design for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
