Working Pattern
Hybrid: At least 2 days per week (40% of time) at one of our office sites. Hours: 35 per week, full-time
About This Opportunity
We’re looking for a UX Designer who can collaborate seamlessly across a full design team while taking sole ownership of their output. You’ll thrive in presenting work to stakeholders, iterating based on feedback, and ensuring usability through research and testing.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end UX leadership: Craft a consummate user journey, balancing content and UI elements within a central design system for optimal on-screen user experiences.
- Prototyping expertise: Bring designs to life using tools like Sketch, InVision, Figma, Axure, Adobe XD.
- Balancing needs: Champion user-centric designs while aligning stakeholders on research insights—diplomatically advocating for what’s best for customers.
- Flexibility across platforms: Adapt designs to technical constraints while guiding teams toward inclusive, accessible solutions.
- Customer advocacy: Ensure product accessibility for a diverse range of ages, backgrounds, and technical abilities.

What We’re Looking For
Core Skills & Experience
✅ Demonstrable expertise in User Experience/Interaction Design ✅ Strong background as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer (visual designers may also apply) ✅ Full project ownership for user experience deliverables ✅ Exceptional prototyping and layout skills, with clear communication for technical teams ✅ Proficiency in existing design systems, with a proactive mindset to improve and extend them ✅ Ability to interpret research (quantitative/qualitative) and inform design decisions ✅ Financial services insight preferred, but not mandatory
