About The Role
As a UX Designer, you’ll lead a user-centred design process, creating best-in-class digital experiences across Web, Mobile Apps, and internal tooling. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams—including **UX, Product, Development, and QA—and convert business requirements into validated wireframes, prototypes, and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand product specifications and Matalan’s customers
- Collaborate with UX teams to conduct research, uncover insights, and define customer needs
- Partner with Web Insights to translate data into actionable outcomes
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative user research to refine design solutions
- Frame actionable problem statements and testable hypotheses for initiatives
- Facilitate workshops to generate diverse, creative design solutions
- Prototype from low-fidelity sketches to fully interactive, animated prototypes
- Produce design deliverables (user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs) for stakeholders
- Solve complex UX challenges (e.g., usability, navigation)
- Iterate designs with Research & Experimentation teams
- Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers and product managers
- Support the launch process in collaboration with developers
- Research competitor products and industry trends
- Develop and enforce a single UI kit across all digital platforms
- Align design with Marketing branding goals
- Give and receive constructive feedback to ensure design excellence
