WPP Enterprise Solutions is seeking an experienced UX Lead to join its prestigious Customer Experience team.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced UX Lead, ready to shape, scale, and elevate our UX offerings. Reporting directly to the Head of CX, this critical role demands a blend of eCommerce specialised expertise, leadership in UI design, optimisation, and consultation, and the ability to supervise project delivery, research, and client workshops while defining a compelling Experience Design and Optimisation Strategy.
Role Scope
- Define and execute a strong and compelling UX strategy for client experience and innovation.
- Lead design teams for excellence, collaboration, and alignment.
- Strengthen design processes across research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO).
- Develop customer-centred design culture throughout the business.
- Mentor and coach UX designers, ensuring continuous team growth through mentoring, hiring, and career development.
- Work closely with Analytics teams to strengthen CRO and synthesise customer insights.
- Drive discoveries through human-centred research, ensuring its applications align with business strategy.
- Design and host product definition and UX requirements workshops.
- Present and maintain project artefacts including journey maps, personas, wireframes, flowcharts, and experience models.
- Collaborate with Account Leads, senior consultants, developers, and organisations to deliver seamless experiences.
Responsibilities
- Define and articulate a convincing UX strategy and help shape our design offering.
- Direct UX design teams with a focus on eCommerce innovation, technical excellence, and alignment with clients' needs.
- Ensure thorough engagement across the methodology: research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and internal client alignment.
- Establish groundbreaking design cultures and tailored experience models fostering better customer outcomes.
- Scale end-to-end user experience processes including static analysis, usability testing, and ongoing optimisations.
- Champion conversion-driven UX strategies across all project scopes.
- Steward quality assurance and best-of-industry UX practices for collation and performance.
- Attract and retain top talent, key to team expansion and profitable slash-hortening project alignment.
- Mentor and enhance UX team growth through inclusive inputs, demonstrations, and career education.
- Inform data-driven decisions through collective insights from research, analytics, and client-facing presentations.
- Design and execute workshops that prompt cross-functional synergy.
- Visualise and articulate complex UX artefacts to stakeholders including methodology sketches, flowcharts, and customer interaction models.
- OVERSEE wireframe delivery of low-high fidelity and communicate design rationale to diverse stakeholders.
- Foster collaborative relationships with external Account Leads, senior management groups, senior analysts, technical teams, and clients.

Requirements
- Proven senior UX designer specialising in eCommerce, with an agency-focused background.
- Widespread qualitative and quantitative research experience in UX design projects.
- Strong workshop facilitation skills and proven ability to synthesise insights.
- Exceptional stakeholder communications skills, capable of presenting consistently across organisational levels.
- In-depth understanding of technical constraints, user aspirations, and business objectives affecting the updates and system development.
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with multiple stakeholders like PMs, developers, and clients for iterative process enhancements.
- Ability to supervise and oversee project phases from initial strategy through detailed delivery.
- Track record of leveraging structured UX methodologies across diverse sectors and engagements.
- Ownership accompanied by leadership in project scope from benchmarks to implementation.
- Seamless capability transforming raw data into user flows, wireframes, and persona expressions.
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse and impactful design projects.
- Desirable: Automotive industry knowledge.
