Children’s Care Assistant - Hillingdon
Location: Uxbridge, Hillingdon Salary: £11.00–£18.50 per hour + mileage, pension & other benefits Hours: Flexible
Applicants must have a valid UK driving licence, own their own vehicle, and live within 5 miles of Hillingdon Borough.
About the Role
You will support the individual needs of younger customers, fostering their independence while maintaining respectful, caring relationships. Working closely with Caremark, you’ll assist them with domestic and personal tasks—such as you might provide within a family environment.
Typical support includes:
- Personal care
- Meal preparation & shopping
- Medication reminders
- Daily routines
- Respite care
- Social & leisure activities
- Community access support
This role aligns with the standards of a family member, ensuring compassionate, tailored care while upholding high professional ethics.
Principal Responsibilities
Your support may include:
- Assisting with personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing)
- Meal preparation and shopping
- Prompting medication regimens
- Supporting daily routines
- Providing respite care for families
- Facilitating socialising & leisure activities
- Helping service users engage with local communities
