  • Accessibility Leadership: Enforce and evangelise W3C-compliant design practices, ensuring inclusive accessibility from sketch to deployment.
  • Development Bridging: Translate designs into interaction Wireframes and specifications developers can build.
  • Workshop Coordination: Shape agendas and facilitate sessions to identify pain points and align teams on solutions.
  • Design Strategy Execution: Plan and execute end-to-end UX activities, including research, synthesis, and iterative design.

You’ll report directly into our team of UX Design leaders, supporting escalating ambition as Zaizi discovers more of the value your skills bring.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Your Experience & Impact

We expect you to drive outcomes while mentoring and supporting others. Your work will:

✅ Raise the bar for UX design processes through tooling, best practices, and cross-functional alignment. ✅ Turn ambiguous user needs into clear product visions with accessible designs. ✅ Ensure consistent, high-quality design artefacts across multiple agile initiatives.

While these objectives give direction, we welcome all urgent candidates who can’t tick every checkbox but show how they might add their unique angle to the role. Women, Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic professionals are far more likely to self-exclude for perceived shortages—we’d truly love to hear from you first regardless.

Requirements

Collaboration & Communication

  • Translate pure user pain points into common team language (especially with developers/stakeholders).
  • Build trust by advocating openly for UX priorities within a agile, deadline-sensitive culture.
  • Provide actionable feedback that drives incremental improvements.

Technical Proficiency

  • Figma: Hands-on daily use for wireframing, prototyping, and development handover.
  • Modern Prototyping: Able to craft contextual / usage-based props, cinematic demonstrations, and interactive mockups.
  • UX Artifacts: Confidence synthesising raw research -> insightful recommendations with uniformity.
  • Development Bridge: Skilled at reducing design complexity for dev teams while aligning on timelines and technical constraints.

Design Health & Advocacy

  • Global acquaintance with accessibility guidelines (WCAG, GDS, MOD).
  • Interplay with example scenarios in Figma Component libraries or similar tooling.
  • Radar for state-of-play trends in government/public-sector design tools and best practices.

Scale Fluency

  • Balance spiky vs. flat workload scales (feature-wide redemptions vs. single-issue PRD iterations).
  • Quick learner adaptable to new ways of working across varied stakeholders.

Important: Please don’t ignore this role just because your experience isn’t a perfect match. If you’re eager and believe you could excel here, we want to hear from you.
