Key Responsibilities
This role is a hybrid of Shuttle Driver, Valet Attendant, and Greeter duties, with coverage as needed across all parking functions. Daily tasks may rotate, but core responsibilities include:
Shuttle Driving

Customer Service & Safety
- Greet all passengers with a friendly, professional demeanour.
- Safely transport customers to destinations while adhering to traffic laws and prioritising their comfort.
- Assist passengers with mobility issues (wheelchair lifts, tie-downs, etc.).

Operational & Documentation
- Complete all required forms: documentation, log sheets, vehicle checks, accident reports, and mileage/defect tracking.
- Report vehicle damage, accidents, or maintenance concerns immediately (before shift end).
- Follow shuttle protocols (e.g., 2-minute wait, designated stops).

Cleanliness & Professionalism
- Keep shuttles clean and presentable.
- Adapt to other parking functions (office, booth, or maintenance) as needed.
Valet Attendant
- Customer Engagement
- Proactively greet customers; assess and anticipate their needs to guide them to their destination.
- Safely assist in vehicle exit'ing (including lift assistance when required).

Parking & Vehicle Care
- Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage and record findings.
- Park vehicles meticulously in designated lot spots.
- Return vehicles to owners securely when requested.

Operational Management
- Track all valet activity on lot sheets and claim tickets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor entry areas for traffic flow and cleanliness.
- Maintain smoke-free valet zones; direct smokers to non-hospital locations.

Financial & Reporting
- Process verbal/digital payments (vouchers, PIL refunds) and log transactions.
- Cover other parking tasks (office, shuttle, booth, or maintenance) as needed.
Valet Greeter
(Note: These tasks also blend with Valet Attendant duties, but emphasis on non-driving engagement during shifts.)
- Greet customers with proactive service; help them find their way.
- Assist with seating or exits (requires lift training).
- Ensure valet areas remain clear of obstructions and cluttered.
Cross-Functional Support
Other duties may include:
- Office administrative tasks.
- Light maintenance (e.g., equipment checks, trash/cleaning).
- On-call availability to fill gaps in parking, shuttle, or booth operations.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (noting 4-points limit or below BMV violations are secure).
- Clear driving record (no more than 4 points via Ohio BMV reporting before hire).
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard transmission (stick shift).
- Training Protocol Alignment:
- Required: Complete OhioHealth shuttle/valet training within 90 days. Covers basic vehicle safety, manual transmission, and赞助工康规程.

Preferred Skills
- 2+ years in customer-facing roles (retail, hospitality, healthcare etc.).
- High school diploma or GED (substantially attractive).
