Valet Driving Customer Service Assistant (FTC)

Customer Service Assistant – Join Our Team at Gatwick Airport!

As a Valet Parking Customer Service Assistant at Gatwick Airport, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations, exceptional customer service, and adherence to the high standards of National Car Parks.

This is a fixed-term contract from Summer 2026 – October 31st, 2026, focused on our busy summer season. You’ll work on a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift schedule covering:

  • Morning shifts: 6am–6pm
  • Night shifts: 6pm–6am

Key Responsibilities

  • Engaging with Customers: Delivering top-notch service with professionalism and warmth
  • Meet and Greet Operations: Safely coordinating car entry, driving, and parking for customers
  • Grounds Maintenance: Maintaining cleanliness and aesthetics through tasks like:
    • Weeding
    • Painting
    • Cleaning surroundings
  • Driving and Parking: Moving customer vehicles safely within Gatwick Airport and designated areas
  • Vehicle Inspections: Recording any pre-existing vehicle damage before handling
  • Foot Patrols: Ensuring safety and security in the car park
  • Care of Customer Vehicles: Upholding high standards when handling vehicles
  • Adherence to Procedures: Following operational protocols and airport safety guidelines
  • Accurate Parking: Ensuring precise driving and parking within designated bays
  • Issue Reporting: Promptly reporting vehicle or operational concerns to on-site management
