Valeter - Galashiels
Vehicle Valeter (Driver) – Self-Employed Role with The Assured Group
The Assured Group are proud to announce an opening for multiple Vehicle Valeters as part of their preferred outsourced vehicle cleaning and driving team.
About the Role
You will work primarily as an on-site Valeter, with occasional driving responsibilities. As a Driver/Valeter, your role will involve directly interacting with customers, ensuring excellent service as the first and final point of contact for clients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Vehicle Cleaning & Detailing
- Valet, clean, and thoroughly detail the interior and exterior of vehicles to a high standard.
- Ensure exceptional service standards are met at all times.

Driver Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect vehicles in line with your driving licence category.
- Complete all necessary handover paperwork accurately and thoroughly.

Vehicle Inspection & Documentation
- Conduct full inspections upon delivery and collection, identifying and recording damage, defects, and faults.
- Agree findings with the customer and ensure signed confirmation.

Health & Safety Compliance
- Adhere to and promote safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintain the safety of yourself, customers, and colleagues at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Full UK Driving Licence, held for 1+ years with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Experience preferred, but full training will be provided.
