To support clients and streamline operations, Motorclean has developed MMS, an in-house software solution with a user-friendly interface that enables efficient management of the entire vehicle preparation process. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Valeting role based in Glasgow City. The Valeter will be responsible for cleaning and preparing vehicles to a high standard, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and detailing interiors and exteriors. Daily tasks include inspecting vehicles for damage, following set preparation checklists, and ensuring all work meets Motorclean’s quality and safety guidelines. The role involves working to schedules provided by the site management team, moving vehicles around the site safely, and using company equipment and cleaning products correctly. The Valeter will also be expected to follow health and safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to support smooth site operations.

  • Experience in vehicle valeting or car cleaning, with the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality interior and exterior finishes.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on cleanliness, presentation, and adherence to preparation standards and checklists.
  • Full UK driving licence and confidence in safely moving and parking different types of vehicles on site.
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods, handle cleaning equipment, and perform manual tasks safely.
  • Reliable time management skills and the ability to work efficiently to meet daily preparation targets and schedules.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices, including safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a team and follow supervisory instructions.
  • Previous experience in automotive, rental, or dealership environments is beneficial but not essential; training can be provided.
