Job Title: Value Stream Lead – Store to Fulfil

Function: Supply Chain Modernisation Programme – Business Integration

Location: Hybrid – Nottingham – Two days per week

Contract type: Permanent

Salary:

Offered on a starting salary of £65,920.00 per annum with the potential for this to increase up to £77,553 over the course of three years + car allowance of £7,000 per annum

Closing Date: Sunday, 2nd August 2026

The Value Stream Lead – Store to Fulfil will play a key role in NHS Supply Chain's modernisation programme, leading the design and implementation of future business processes across the end-to-end Store to Fulfil value stream. This is an opportunity to help shape how the organisation operates in the future, designing new ways of working rather than simply improving existing processes.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business, the successful candidate will take ownership of both the current ('as-is') and future ('to-be') process landscape, ensuring alignment between operational requirements, programme objectives, and strategic priorities. They will act as the central point of accountability for the value stream, driving consistency and helping teams work towards a common vision.

This is a highly autonomous role within a large-scale, multi-year transformation programme, offering the chance to make a lasting impact across the organisation. The role combines process leadership, stakeholder engagement, and ERP transformation experience, with ongoing responsibility for process performance and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Head of End-to-End Process, the Value Stream Lead will work closely with subject matter experts, programme teams, cross-functional business stakeholders, customers and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of transformation objectives and sustainable business outcomes.

Every day you will …

  • Lead and own the Store to Fulfil value stream, acting as the process champion and providing direction on future ways of working that support NHS Supply Chain's wider modernisation objectives.
  • Build a detailed understanding of current operations, mapping and documenting existing processes, identifying pain points, dependencies and opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and user experience.
  • Design future-state processes and operating models, working closely with business stakeholders, SMEs and programme teams to define requirements and ensure solutions meet operational and strategic needs.
  • Support the successful delivery of change, guiding process testing, stakeholder engagement, training and go-live activities to ensure new processes are effectively embedded across the organisation.
  • Monitor and continuously improve process performance, establishing KPIs, reviewing outcomes and driving ongoing optimisation to ensure long-term value is realised from the transformation programme.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
