What you will do
Our busy Van Centre based in Tipton is currently looking for a qualified Van Technician Supervisor with excellent diagnostic and mechanical skills to work a set shift:
- Working 45 hours Rotating: Week 1: 07.00 – 16.30; Week 2: 08.30 – 18.00; and alternate Saturday mornings 07.00-12.00 paid as overtime
- Paying up to £53,820 (£23 P/H) dependent on Van Technical skills with Supervisory experience
- Flexibility will be required
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Supervise the shift technicians and coordinate workload
- Liaise with the Van Centre Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPIs, etc
- Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
- Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
- Participation in call out and breakdown rota - if/when required
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment
- Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
- Complete job cards clearly and accurately

Essential Qualifications and Knowledge
- C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification
- Electrical and Mechanical skills and experience
- Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
- Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage
