Van Controller
Van Controller – GSF Car Parts
About The Role
As a Van Controller within GSF Car Parts, you will play an essential role in upholding our sales promise by coordinating delivery runs and ensuring delivery drivers deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the driver team effectively
- Optimising delivery routes and orders for cost efficiency
- Ensuring on-time van deliveries
- Overseeing branch fleet maintenance and servicing
- Maintaining high delivery team standards to fulfil customer service expectations
Working Hours
Avg. 37+ hours per week (Mon–Fri), with alternate Saturday shifts
About You
As the Van Controller, you’ll bring experience in managing driver teams while efficiently scheduling deliveries on behalf of our customers.
Essential Requirements
- Proven track record of leading a driver team
- Customer-focused mindset, proactive attitude, and willingness to exceed targets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to train, develop and motivate colleagues
- Valid driving licence for at least 3 years
- Deep knowledge of the local area (within a 40-mile radius)
