Van driver

Van Driver – 3.5t (Part-Time, Local Delivery) | Newport, Isle of Wight

About the Role

About us Medina Food Service, part of Sysco GB (the world’s leading foodservice company), is a rapidly growing UK food business. This is a proactive, client-focused opportunity to join our transport team in Newport, Isle of Wight—where teamwork and honesty define us.

We are committed to growing and improving, and this role offers the chance to progress further within the industry—up to becoming an HGV driver, with our industry-backed training programme available to motivated candidates.

About this role As a Van Driver, your responsibility will be logistically reliable transport of vital food produce to customers across our region. Accuracy and diligence are critical—handling deliveries, managing multi-temperature trucks, and ensuring strict DVSA compliance. You’ll also perform manual handling tasks, so Health & Safety compliance (SSOW) and food hygiene awareness are non-negotiable.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
