Job Description
Van Driver - Immediate Start Fixed Term Contract to end of September 2026
Location: Newton Abbott, Devon
Salary: £27,497.60 per annum based on 40 hours per week, additional hours worked up to 48 will be paid for at basic rate. Plus Benefits including Life Assurance, 22 days' holiday per annum

The job
- Interacting with up to 50 customers a day, providing an effective and helpful service
- Delivering premium cooking oil and collecting used cooking oil from customers in a friendly and professional way
- You’ll make your deliveries in modern vehicles using handheld technology to record your volumes
- Filling out round sheets and invoices with quantities and prices
- Unloading used cooking oil from the vehicles back in the yard
- Loading vehicles with fresh stock ready for the next day
- Working as part of a team to ensure the site runs efficiently and effectively
We will be looking for:
- Experienced van driver
- Multi drop experience
- Must hold driving licence without any DR10 or IN10 (or equivalent) licence offence codes
- No more than six points on your driving licence
- Ideally experience in a multi drop, delivery or collection role, but not essential
Please note, this role involves early hours, starting from 5:00am. As the role can involve moving and carrying weights in excess of 20kgs, we will provide manual handling training and medical screening to the successful candidate.
