Part-Time Delivery & Collection Driver

Location: Southport

Hours: 30 hours per week
Job Type: Part-Time (with the opportunity to become Full-Time)

Scrubber Dryer and Sweeper Hire Limited (SAS HIRE) is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of industrial cleaning machinery, providing hire, sales, servicing and repairs nationwide. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated individual to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity to start on a part-time basis with the intention of progressing to a full-time role once you have completed your training and demonstrated competence in the position.

  • Delivering and collecting industrial cleaning machines throughout the UK using a 3.5-tonne van.
  • Safely loading and unloading machinery using a vehicle ramp.
  • Providing customers with a basic demonstration of the equipment (full training provided).
  • Completing delivery paperwork and carrying out daily vehicle checks.
  • Keeping the company vehicle clean and presentable.
  • Representing SAS HIRE professionally while providing excellent customer service.
  • Assisting in the workshop and yard with preparing machines for hire and sale when required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Confident driving long distances across the UK.
  • Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Physically fit, as the role involves loading and unloading machinery.
  • Forklift experience is beneficial but not essential.
