TGE Light Sales Specialist – Van Sales & Rental
MTC Northwest Ltd are looking for an ambitious and motivated Sales Specialist to drive the growth of our MAN TGE Van Sales & Rental division.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident sales professional who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and delivering outstanding customer service. You'll be responsible for generating new sales whilst maintaining and growing our existing customer base across Merseyside and the surrounding areas.

If you have commercial vehicle sales experience or have a strong B2B sales background with a passion for the automotive industry, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Sales Specialist, you will proactively identify new business opportunities, manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover, and work closely with our aftersales team to ensure customers receive an exceptional experience.
You'll spend much of your time meeting customers on-site, networking, and developing lasting business relationships.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a sales or business development role
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Target-driven with a proactive approach to winning business
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Commercial vehicle sales experience would be advantageous but is not essential

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new van sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Generate leads through networking, prospecting and referrals
- Manage the full sales process from enquiry to delivery
- Prepare quotations, finance proposals and vehicle specifications
- Promote manufacturer campaigns and product offers
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems
- Achieve agreed sales and profitability targets
- Represent MTC Truck & Van professionally at all times
- Work closely with the aftersales team to maximise customer retention

Job Type
Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm
