Value Added Services Supervisor Elton | Permanent | £39,000 - £41,000
Are you an experienced warehouse or logistics professional with a passion for leading teams and delivering operational excellence?
We're looking for a Value Added Services Supervisor to oversee our VAS operation, ensuring customer requirements are delivered safely, accurately, and on time. Working closely with the Value Added Services Manager, you'll lead the VAS Administration team, drive performance, maintain compliance, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading Operations
- Supervise daily Value Added Services activities and support the VAS Administration team.
- Ensure customer requests, promotional rework, returns, and stock movements are processed accurately and on time.
- Act as deputy for the VAS Manager when required.
Driving Performance
- Monitor KPIs, investigate non-conformances, and implement improvements.
- Maintain accurate system transactions, stock control, and operational reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
Leading People
- Coach, support, and develop team members through regular training and performance reviews.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Championing Safety
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, HMRC, and company procedures.
- Promote safe working practices and operational excellence across the department.
What We’re Looking For
- Supervisory experience within a warehouse, logistics, or value-added services environment.
- Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing KPIs, stock control, and operational reporting.
- Knowledge of NCRs, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement.
- Experience using warehouse systems such as AS400, Autostore, SAP, or similar is desirable.
- A proactive approach with a strong customer service focus and attention to detail.
