The VAT Compliance Manager

Description

  • Manage and oversee the VAT compliance function for a portfolio of clients.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Provide expert advice on VAT legislation and its implications for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance VAT compliance efficiency.
  • Support clients during VAT audits and liaise with tax authorities as required.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay updated on changes in VAT regulations and communicate relevant updates to clients and colleagues.

Profile

A successful VAT Compliance Manager should have:

  • A strong understanding of VAT regulations and compliance processes.
  • Relevant qualifications in accounting, tax, or finance.
  • Proven experience in VAT compliance within the professional services industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
