VAT Director
Lead VAT. Build What Comes Next.
Join Azets as a VAT Director, taking ownership of a critical regional VAT capability and providing senior leadership, technical expertise, and trusted client advice.
This is a high-impact role with real autonomy and a clear pathway to Partner for someone ready to shape services, people, and growth.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide senior oversight of all VAT advice across the region and contribute to national VAT initiatives
- Lead and grow key client relationships, acting as a trusted VAT advisor
- Deliver high-quality, pragmatic VAT advice across a broad range of industries
- Lead, mentor, and develop the VAT team, ensuring high standards and progression
- Drive cross-service line collaboration and revenue growth across VAT and indirect tax services
What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years’ experience specialising in VAT / indirect tax, ideally within a professional services environment
- CTA qualified or equivalent experience gained within an established VAT practice
- Strong technical knowledge of VAT and the wider indirect tax landscape, including International Trade
- Ability to explain complex VAT matters clearly and commercially
- Proven track record of developing long-term client relationships and leading teams
