A highly respected and rapidly growing professional services firm is looking to appoint an Indirect Tax Senior Associate to join its expanding VAT team. This organisation has built a strong reputation for delivering complex advisory work across a diverse client base and a broad range of industry sectors, offering excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression. The role is available on a hybrid basis from Cardiff.
Your new role
As an Indirect Tax Senior Associate, you will join a thriving advisory team experiencing significant growth and increasing demand from clients. You will:
- Deliver practical, commercially focused VAT advice to a varied portfolio of clients.
- Manage VAT compliance workstreams and oversee a portfolio of VAT compliance clients.
- Support clients with technically challenging indirect tax matters across multiple sectors.
- Work on a wide range of advisory projects within the middle market.
- Build strong client relationships by providing clear, concise and jargon-free solutions.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of a team recognised for its expertise in complex and contentious VAT matters.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong VAT technical knowledge and a broad indirect tax skillset.
- CTA qualification and/or exceptional technical expertise.
- Proven communication and client management skills.
- Experience managing VAT compliance engagements and client portfolios.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying client needs.
- A proactive approach and enthusiasm for working across diverse sectors and projects.
