Automotive Fitting Technician

You’ll already have some experience of working with cars, either professionally or as a hobby. Whether you're driven by that enthusiasm combined with an ability to connect with customers is what will fuel success in this role—delivering market-leading service standards is a priority.
Role Overview
As an Automotive Fitting Technician, you’ll work directly on customers’ vehicles in our car park, focusing on creating exceptional experiences. Your knack for quick, efficient problem-solving and confidence handling all things motoring comes with some experience of car parts fitting. We’ll provide training to advance your expertise, including vehicle maintenance (bulbs, blades, batteries) and technology services.
Beyond technical tasks, you’ll also have the chance to mentor and develop team members, ensuring our high-quality standards are consistently upheld.

- Carry out most vehicle service and repair work, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.
- Support team development through shared expertise.
- Maintain the highest quality standards, aligning with our commitment to excellence.
- Rotating shifts, including weekends, in line with demand.

Requirements
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience fitting car parts, including basic vehicle maintenance (e.g., bulbs, windscreen blades, batteries).
- Experience teaching skills to others.
- A track record of delivering exceptional customer service, ideally in retail or automotive environments.
- Strong proactive communication skills to assist customers.
- Problem-solving agility.
- Availability to work on a rota system, including weekends.
Note: Previous experience in retail or automotive/vehicle repair environments is ideal but not mandatory. Strong customer-focused skills can eclipse gaps in experience.
