Vehicle Appraiser
Location: Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Up to £28,000 DOE
About the Role
We are looking for a professional and detail-oriented Vehicle Appraiser to join our busy team in Hanley. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong automotive background who is passionate about vehicle inspections, valuations, and delivering excellent customer service.
As a Vehicle Appraiser, you will be responsible for accurately assessing the condition and value of vehicles, ensuring all appraisals are completed to a high standard. You will work closely with the sales and purchasing teams to support stock acquisition and provide customers with a seamless experience.
Your Role:
- Carry out accurate vehicle appraisals, assessing condition, history, and market value
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical, cosmetic, and structural condition
- Upload vehicles to the website
- Identify refurbishment requirements and estimate associated costs
- Liaise with the sales and buying teams to support stock purchasing decisions
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections and valuations
- Keep up to date with current market trends and used vehicle pricing
- Ensure all appraisals are completed efficiently and in line with company standards

About You:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Vehicle Appraiser, Vehicle Inspector, Sales Executive, or within a similar automotive role
- Has a strong knowledge of vehicle makes, models, specifications, and market values
- Can confidently assess vehicle condition and identify repair requirements
- Has excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Is confident communicating with customers and colleagues in a professional manner
- Can work independently while also contributing as part of a team
- Is able to manage a busy workload and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be computer literate
- Holds a full valid UK driving licence
