Customer Consultant – Solus
About the Role
Please be aware that this role involves significant driving duties.
The Customer Consultant role at Solus is built around clear communication, organisation, and a strong focus on customer experience. As a key point of contact, you’ll support customers throughout their repair journey while helping to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
This is a varied, hands-on position combining customer service, coordination, and vehicle collection/delivery—requiring strong judgement, organisation, and a professional approach. You’ll balance customer care with practical, site-based responsibilities.
Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
- Keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicle repair
- Handling queries calmly and professionally, providing clear and timely responses
- Collecting and delivering customer vehicles safely and courteously when required
- Arranging and coordinating vehicle movements and transport logistics
- Supporting site operations, including parts coordination and basic administration
- Collaborating closely with technicians, production teams, and site leaders
- Helping maintain a welcoming, organised, and professional site environment

Requirements
No formal qualifications are required for this role. What matters most is:
- How you work with people
- How you manage responsibility
- Your willingness to be hands-on
What You’ll Bring
- Strong customer service experience, ideally in a customer-facing role
- A full UK driving licence, with confidence in driving customer vehicles
- Clear and professional communication skills (both in-person and over the phone)
- A calm, organised approach, even when managing multiple tasks
- Pride in representing Solus when interacting with customers
- A positive, team-focused attitude
Full training is provided. If you enjoy helping people and taking responsibility, we’ll support your development.
