Location: Solihull
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £20.00 - £23.00 per hour, depending on experience
Shifts: Rotating weekly
6:00am - 6:00pm
6:00pm - 6:00am
Recruitable Staffing are currently recruiting experienced Auto Electricians / Vehicle Electrical Technicians for an immediate start with our client based in Solihull.
This role is suited to candidates with strong automotive electrical diagnostics experience, ideally gained within an OEM, dealership, vehicle manufacturing, or automotive repair environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out electrical diagnostics, fault finding, testing and repairs on vehicles. This will include working with wiring diagrams, multimeters, electrical components and wiring looms.

Duties Include
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical faults
- Using multimeters to test voltage, resistance and continuity
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics
- Tracing faults across vehicle electrical systems
- Repairing wiring looms, connectors, terminals and harnesses
- Working with relays, fuses, switches, solenoids and alternators
- Completing work safely and accurately to required standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Auto Electrician or Vehicle Electrical Technician
- Strong hands-on automotive electrical diagnostics experience
- OEM, dealership or vehicle manufacturing experience preferred
- Some level of EV / hybrid training or awareness
- Confident using multimeters and diagnostic tools
- Ability to read wiring diagrams
- Experience with wiring and loom repairs

Please Note
This position requires proven vehicle electrical diagnostics experience. EV battery technician experience alone may not be suitable unless you also have strong automotive electrical fault-finding experience on vehicles.
