Due to continued growth and success, Sandicliffe is looking for a Vehicle Inspector / Goods In Inspector to join our busy FordStore dealership in Nottingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, has strong attention to detail and wants to build a career within the automotive industry. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

About The Role
As a Vehicle Inspector, you will be responsible for receiving new and transferred vehicles, carrying out vehicle condition inspections and maintaining accurate stock records. Your work will help ensure vehicles are processed efficiently and presented to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive vehicles from manufacturers, transport companies and dealership transfers.
- Conduct vehicle arrival inspections and record any damage or discrepancies.
- Safely park and store vehicles in accordance with dealership procedures.
- Maintain accurate vehicle location records and stock control information.
- Support and record data for the Ford Battery Care Programme.
- Ensure vehicles are kept in a safe, secure and roadworthy condition.
- Maintain secure handling and storage of vehicle keys.
- Carry out regular vehicle condition checks and report any damage, theft or vandalism.
- Locate and prepare sold, transferred and display vehicles.
- Verify vehicle movement records and maintain accurate documentation.
- Follow company policies, health and safety procedures and industry regulations.

Essential Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good administrative and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills.
Desirable
- Interest in cars, automotive retail or vehicle operations.
- Previous experience in vehicle inspections, goods-in operations, stock control or dealership environments.
