Role Description
The Vehicle Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough visual and functional inspections of vehicles prior to purchase. On a typical day, the Vehicle Inspector reviews inspection requests, coordinates appointments, and travels locally to assigned vehicles to perform inspections following company checklists and standards. Qualifications

- Strong Vehicle Inspection and Inspection skills, with the ability to follow structured checklists and identify issues accurately.
- Vehicle Maintenance knowledge, including a basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and safety systems.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Satisfaction skills to explain findings clearly and support a positive client experience.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong documentation skills for creating reliable reports.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently in the field and remotely using digital tools.
- Previous experience in automotive inspection, repair, or related fields is beneficial; relevant certifications (e.g., ASE or similar) are a plus.
